DISCOVER THE TRI-HERO CHALLENGE

TRI-HERO stands for Trans Radial Intervention HEmostasis pROtocol.

The TRI-HERO Challenge is a joined effort of Terumo Interventional Systems and radial experts with a clear objective: support best practice sharing to achieve patent hemostasis and preserve radial access.

You can either join as a PARTICIPANT or as AUDIENCE:

Make sure to complete your submission and/or show your support by voting for your favourite protocol(s) before June 20

OUR AMBITION: PRESERVE RADIAL ACCESS

  • Radial access has become standard practice in cardiology1,2 and is rising as a safe access with improved clinical outcome for endovascular interventions3

  • Radial Artery Occlusion (RAO) remains the most frequent post procedural complication of radial access, despite the existence of recommendations to prevent periprocedural RAO4

  • Achieving non occlusive or patent hemostasis is one of the key measures to prevent RAO4.

  • Keeping the radial artery open is crucial to preserve radial access for future interventions.
