Radial Access Protocol
The radial artery is palpated to confirm the puncture site. Ultrasonography is only used if the initial attempt using palpation fails. A 6Fr sheath is then inserted for PCI.
TR Band Application Protocol
After PCI is completed, a physician applies the TR band, then injects 16 mL of air, and removes the sheath.

Discharge Protocol
A nurse removes the TR band one hour after air in the band reaches 0 mL.
Tips and Tricks
Deflation 30 minutes after sheath removal should be carefully performed once the pulse of the radial artery is visible through the transparent TR band, ensuring there is no bleeding.
